Round Head Square Neck Bolts, Carriage Bolts, Coach Bolts
Carriage bolts, also called coach bolts, have a mushroom-like head with a square neck. Its 1-piece forged from carbon steels, used through iron strengthening plates on either side of a wooden beam. Its commonly used into bare timber, the squared section giving enough grip to prevent rotation. Round head square neck bolts usually assorted with hex flange nuts or hex nuts. The general supplies are made of low carbon steels, middle carbon steels (low grade and high strength), stainless steel 18-8, grade 304 and 316.
The metric standard carriage bolts are DIN 603 with material class 4.8, 6.8 and 8.8.
